Well Equipped shop in Brandon, Florida is looking for an honest, reliable Automotive Service Advisor who is willing to learn and grow in this business.

Duties and Responsibilities -

• Promptly greeting customers who walk into the shop
• Listening to customers describe auto problems
• Asking follow-up questions to help diagnose issues
• Entering customer information into a database
• Tracking the progress of each job
• Compiling work estimates and communicating them to the customer
• Answering customers’ questions regarding the nature of repairs and their costs
• Billing the customer or accepting payment when the job is complete

Skills and Qualifications -

• Strong listening skills to gather information from customers
• Effective interviewing skills to ask follow-up questions
• Thorough knowledge of automobiles to gather information and discuss vehicles with authority
• Verbal communication skills to explain complex technical problems in simple terms
• Familiarity with database software used for entering customer information
• Arithmetic ability to calculate the total cost of parts and labor when creating estimates
• Organizational skills to keep track of multiple jobs and manage estimates and other paperwork

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,372.00 per year
