I'm recruiting for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer on behalf of my client, a financial services firm, to take on a role as a principal DevOps engineer! You need to be an expert with CI/CD pipelines and have very strong cloud skills, in particular with Azure and AWS.
This is a fully remote job role, you can work remotely as long as you are already based within Ireland, Europe or the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Lead discussions/guide the technical teams in regards to DevOps Principals and best practice
- Build CI/CD pipeline model
- Support the production deployment on cloud platforms like AWS, azure or GCP
- System trouble shooting
- Mentor other junior or mid-level engineers on the team
Required Skills:
- 5-8 years' experience in DevOps Engineering
- Minimum 5 years cloud experience - Azure, AWS or GCP
- Several years hands on experience with CI/CD
- Hands on experience with version control systems - GitHub or GitLab
- Strong hands on experience with IaC - Terraform, Ansible or Chef
- Strong automation capabilities and experience with one of the following - Python or Ruby
- Experience with operating systems - Windows or Linux
