J. Olia Doula Services Nanny Care provides in-home care for families. Your children will be in great hands as our nannies will take great care of your children and their basic needs, prepare meals, create a safe and stimulating environment, help to keep your children's things neat and clean, plan educational activities and crafts, drive kids to school, help with homework, run errands, and light housekeeping.

Job Details:
Starting Immediately
Nanny for a 11 month old baby girl in Accokeek, Maryland.
Schedule: Monday - Friday/ 5 Hours Daily & open to occasional babysitting or additional hours
Nanny must me open to working with a child who is mildly ill. "Mildly ill" is interpreted to mean the child:
- does not have an excessively high fever (not exceeding 101 degrees)
- has been to a doctor and has received a doctor's note confirming the diagnosis
- is recuperating from illnesses such as cold, ear infection, fever, minor injury, stomach flu, or tonsillitis
Requirements:
- Experience with infants
- Understands infant development
- Ability to work legally within the United States
- Be at least 21 years of age
- At least two professional references
- Willingness and commitment to be lawfully paid as a W-2 employee
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must be CPR & First Aid Certified or pay for certification.
- Vaccinated against COVID-19
Job Responsibilities:
- Changing diapers
- Understand the developmental milestones of infants
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for the infant
- Take daily walks
- Change clothes throughout the day if necessary
- Bottle Preparation
- Feeding Solids
- Bottle Cleaning
- Understand specific instructions regarding the infant, including sleeping schedules and bottle-feeding routine
- Provide the infant with nurturing love and security by keeping them safe and happy
- Encourage social interaction and teach infants to be friendly and expressive.
- Administer medication to unwell children under specific instructions provided by their parents.
- Tidy play areas, put away toys and ensure that all play areas and toys are kept clean and sanitized.
- Assist with light housekeeping (i. e., cleaning the kitchen counters, sweeping the floor, cleaning any mess made by the baby, washing dishes, baby's laundry, and keeping the nursery tidy and neat)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.50 per hour
