- Act as an Execution lead closely partnering with business and CPLs – conveying business priorities to relevant Crews (building the associated products) to ensure common understanding of needs, priorities, and dependencies across product teams to ensure a cohesive, valuable product for the business
- Work with Product Management, Product Owners, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment between strategy/roadmap and execution
- Manage Project managers and scrum masters to ensure consistent approach and drive efficiency execution
- Participate fully in walkthroughs and process audits as required
- Work with team technical writers and other stakeholders, ensure appropriate technical documentation is produced and maintained at all points in the process
- Facilitate release planning readiness and drives closure of key RAIDs - be the driving force behind creating an execution level roadmap for each team that will deliver that release scope to a reasonable timeline
- Monitor the delivery of products independently using Agile methodology, and facilitating discussion between business and Crews on timelines and prioritization with an understanding of complex facilitation and dependency management techniques (cross team, cross department)
- Lead the preparation and facilitation of Cross program events (e.g. weekly Cross Crew Sync, quarterly Big Room Planning). Identifying concerns with each team's roadmap and issues/risks with cross Overdrive dependencies and then resolving them
- Understand domain architecture and upstream/downstream dependencies
- Provide regular and open communication across the program and stakeholders for transparency and awareness of progress and impediments
- Provide status reports of various projects to management
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage projects in all respects viz. Cost, resources & timelines
- Cooperate with key stakeholders and ability to work across organizational boundaries
Your team
You’ll be working in the Overdrive Transformation Office. You will be part of a team comprised of internal and vendor resources within the Global Wealth Management – Bank USA function driving the program management of a key banking modernization project. You will report into the head of the program transformation office.
Your expertise
- 10+ years large/complex program software delivery/program management covering all aspect of SDLC
- Strong Agile project management of large implementation of platforms, ideally with a US financial services remit
- 10+ years’ experience in managing complex software programs and services as a program manager, release train engineer (RTE) or similar technical role in a software development environment
- Outstanding collaboration skills, prior experience working in a matrix and geographically distributed organization
- Highly organized and execution focused, accountable and driven
- Proven track record of delivery high quality products on-time
- Leadership track record overseeing both direct reports and influence across a matrix organization
- Technical knowledge with a desired emphasis on current industry trends including cloud-based development and Agile development techniques
