About the Job

Hoity Toity is an artisan donut shop, opening Summer 2023 in Walnut Hills. Our donuts are chef- made, small-batch, handcrafted in house 100% from scratch. We’re serving uniquely delicious donuts with coffees and beverages to compliment!

We are looking for a creative and experienced barista to lead our coffee/beverage program.

Our beverages focus on seasonality and flavor profiles that challenge the norm.

WHO WE WANT:

We are looking for baristas with a passion for coffee, but even more-so, a passion for people.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior coffee experience
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Extreme attention to detail
• Ability to lead and inspire co-workers with an inspirational, positive and passionate attitude
• Help build and establish an infectious and diverse culture focused on creativity, open communication and excellence
• Prior coffee experience isn't required but preferred!
• Knowledge of coffee products, equipment, and tea products.

RESPONSIBILITIES/EXPERIENCE:

• Collab with pastry team to develop creative, delicious and complimentary beverages
• Able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Outgoing and people-loving (even when they aren't the nicest of the bunch!)
• Making recommendations based on the customer's preferences, taking orders, up-selling special items, and keeping the facility clean and stocked.
• Love of coffee and pastries (esp coffee)
• Ability to problem-solve, think critically and be adaptable to dynamic situations
• Attention to detail & keeping a clean area!

Ideal candidate has prior experience as a barista or mixologist.
