The Barista is responsible for maintaining and initiating standard operating procedures put forward by Experience Variety Group and the Barista Manager. Success in this position requires time management and effective communication.

$12.00/hr + Tips

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Actively observing all areas of the coffee shop that need assistance or coverage.
• Conducting rounds and maintaining a consistent presence at the front of the coffee shop/ counter to greet customers and ensure speedy customer service.
• Cross train with all areas of the coffee shop to have the ability to cover any team member absences.
• Maintaining equipment to ensure quality while being coast efficient.
• Maintain a clean and organized facility to company standards. (Front of house, back of house, employee staging area, etc.)
• Continued F&B quality control.
• Maintaining a positive and customer service orientated environment consistent with Experience Variety Group company culture.
• Communication to team members with promotional items, events, or any company events.

Must comply with all company policies and procedures.

To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance is required.

Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers and interact with our guests.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Must be able to communicate with other team members and guest

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

• Knowledge and understanding of basic math

REASONING ABILITY

• Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for a long period of time
