L’Avant-Garde is a luxurious French Brasserie. Our reputation sets us as one of the most refined restaurants in the city. With our Michelin star-famed Chef Gilles Epié, our famous Chief sommelier, and our prominent Service Director, we aim for perfection on all levels!! Located in Georgetown, L’Avant-Garde is open for dinner only and closed on Sundays and Mondays.

We are looking for a competent, friendly, and highly experienced BARTENDER with proven skills and love for craft cocktails and service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a very high level of impeccable quality and answer our high-profile patrons’ requests.
• Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products.
• Engineer weekly/seasonal and dynamic signature cocktails menus.
• Suggest and create unique presentation for all our cocktails.
• Manage infusion and tincture batches.
• Constantly strive to create new garnishes.
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff.
• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $10.00 per hour
