The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both the internal and external
customer. The incumbent is also responsible for providing beverage service to Belterra Casino Resort guests
andFood Servers while providing excellent customer relations. Responsible areas include Banquets, 19 Steak
& Seafood, Stadium Sports Bar & Grill, Out of Bounds, and any non-gaming food venue created for the
purpose of guest service.

1. Provides superior customer service, positively effects interactions with customers and employees, and
has the resiliency to deal with difficult customers and coworkers.
2. Maintains company funds and equipment in an orderly manner.
3. Pours drinks according to established recipes; maintains a clean and safe work environment.
4. Ensures compliance with “R U 21.”
5. Demonstrates specific product offerings and ordering procedures.
6. Monitors proper par levels of all supplies at assigned bars.
7. Communicates any problems or situations detrimental to Belterra Casino Resort to immediate
supervisor.
8. Responsible for the security and accuracy of assigned bank and is accountable for any and all
overages and shortages.
9. Opens/closes bar according to established procedures.
10. Provides work direction for bar attendants assigned to bar.
11. Bartender may work in the capacity of a Beverage Server, Busperson, Barback, Food Server, Room
Service Server, Pool Attendant, or Host/Cashier and all combinations thereof.
WORKING CONDITIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and all levels of employees.
• Ability to observe and direct actions of bar attendants and to inspect and maintain areas for which

responsible.

• Ability to distinguish between different denominations of currency and make change.
• Ability to review and comprehend drink recipes and other necessary documentation.
• Ability to pour cocktails and use all equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to,

cash register and bar equipment.

• Ability to effectively and efficiently move around bar area.
• Ability to retrieve supplies and maintain a clean working area.
• Ability to maneuver and lift up to 10 pounds in order to open and close bar, obtain all supplies

necessary for mixing cocktails, and clean and maintain areas for which responsible.

• Must be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.
• This position operates in a working environment that is subject to varying levels of noise, crowds and

smoke, the severity of which depends upon customer volume.

• Machines and equipment used, but not limited to, include cash register, EDI liquor dispensing

equipment, beverage dispensing equipment, blenders, dishwashers, and coffee making machines.
