Our 6 pediatrician practice is seeking to find a replacement for a retiring partner. We are located in beautiful Rhode Island close to beaches, 1 hour south of Boston, 3 hours north of New York City. The practice is primarily outpatient. Physicians are expected to make rounds on NORMAL newborns once per week and when covering on weekends. There are no other inpatient hospital responsibilities. There are no delivery room attendance requirements. Call expectation is once every 6 nights and once every 6th weekend. Nurse triage is available for on call physicians after 1000 PM on weeknights and after noon on weekends and holidays. Compensation is very competitive with a very equitable compensation formula and a rapid partner track. Benefits include fully paid malpractice insurance, family health insurance, 4 weeks of vacation, 1 week CME time and a CME allowance, retirement plan. Our retiring partner’s practice is full. There will be no need to “market” or recruit patients. Our practice is highly respected with ties to The Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University. Our physicians have been named “Top Docs” in Rhode Island for more than 25 years. With the exception of replacing retiring physicians, there has been ZERO turnover of physicians in our practice in the last 25 years. The physicians that we have hired have stayed!
