RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee and operate the VOORTMAN V808 beamline.
• Ensure a safe work environment for self and coworkers.
• Produce quality materials that meet customer expectations.
• Schedule and perform regular size changes.
• Participate and perform regular maintenance on the line.
• Train and ensure an understanding of other positions on the beamline.
• Layout, read, and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and other company documents.
• Operate heavy steel fabrication machinery according to company requirements.
• Load and unload equipment with material manually and through the use of an overhead crane.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot, properly mark, and stamp materials.
• Perform daily cleaning of machines.
• Locate parts and supplies for machine operation and grind material.
• Perform other routine duties per management direction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• No experience required
• Previous experience operating beamline equipment would be a plus
• Completion of a closely related vocational training course is preferred but not required.
• Experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts is a plus

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
