For 65 years, Starlite Recovery Center has been providing adult and adolescent clients in the heart of the Hill Country in Center Point, Texas, with caring and highly effective drug rehab for substance abuse, alcohol addiction, and co-occurring issues.

As a Behavioral Health Associate at Starlite Recovery Center you will participate in the development and implementation of patients' treatment plan by:

• Providing care and close supervision of facility patients and documenting behavior
• Developing positive relationships with patients and co-workers
• Following facility policies and procedures implementing treatment plans and providing crisis intervention as necessary.
• Actively participant as part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction
• Act as a role model in using appropriate counseling skills by de-escalating aggression, using active listening skills, using appropriate tone and volume of voice, providing a high frequency and variety of positive reinforcements, maintaining appropriate boundaries, and promoting a positive peer culture.

Openings include the following:

• Full-time Evenings 2:45pm - 11:15pm (Working every other weekend with one week day off)
• Full-time Nights 10:45pm - 7:15am ( Working every other weekend with one week day off)

• Shift Differential for all evening shifts ($2/hr) and overnight shifts ($3/hr) and day shifts ($1/hr) on the weekends

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 based on local, state and/or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
