Ideal candidate will represent the hotel at the main entrance by greeting arriving and departing guests in an enthusiastic and courteous manner. Directs traffic at the main entrances to ensure the driveway is always accessible and offers luggage assistance to all guests.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet and establish rapport with guest, proactively engaging them in conversations their stay
  • Grasps, lifts and/or carries or otherwise moves packages, luggage or boxes from cars, buses and vans, placing packages and luggage onto baggage carts and storing in secure area for retrieval by bell staff.
  • Retrieves luggage from luggage storage for guests who are checking out of the hotel.
  • Maintains driveway traffic flow to allow main hotel entrance accessibility as well as to ensure ample space for passenger and luggage loading and unloading.
  • Greets guests immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome. Opens car doors for arriving and departing hotel customers.
  • Responds immediately to guest inquiries regarding hotel features, services and assistance.
  • Provides clear and understandable directions to hotel facilities and nearby attractions.
  • Maintains an alert and attentive demeanor always in addition to remaining calm during periods of heavy business volumes.
  • Advises housekeeping as necessary to maintain a clean, orderly appearance of the main hotel entrance.
  • Clearly communicates guest parking procedures and applicable costs to arriving guests.
Job Requirements:
  • Must be able and willing to work on his/her feet for long periods of time
  • Must be able and willing to lift 15 + lbs.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Hourly rate - $ 11.00 plus tips
