We are looking for a VITA Data Warehouse/BI Developer 3 (HYBRID) (Min 5 years exp) (Webcam interviews ONLY)

*first round of interviews will be via web, second round of interviews will be ONSITE, NO exceptions

*candidates will be required to work onsite 2-3 days/week

*position will likely be extended an additional year beyond 4/2023

Experience designing and developing dashboards, scorecards, charts, pivot tables, reports, and reporting systems according to the business requirements. Ability to work independently with users and teams in gathering requirements with high attention to detail and focused on the timely completion of deliverables. Experience with extracting, transforming, loading, and utilizing data from multiple sources.

Experienced in MicroSoft Power Platform. Seeking a Senior BI Developer with strong business analysis and Power BI skills. The best candidate will have proven success producing solutions and results under required timelines. They also need to possess the energy to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate will have proven experience in working closely with business users and stakeholders to understand the business drivers, needs and challenges. The candidate develops technical specifications that allow for the design and delivery of the most appropriate solution. The candidate is expected to have

• Experience in creating visualizations and reports for requested projects

• Experience designing and developing dashboards, scorecards, charts, pivot tables, reports, and reporting systems according to the business requirements.

• Experience and in-depth understanding of database concepts, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL framework

• Analytical thinking with a problem-solving aptitude

• Developed and maintained the sources of information

• Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative

• Ability to work independently with users and teams in gathering requirements with high attention to detail and focused on the timely completion of deliverables.

• Ability to write SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions with an understanding of performance factors such as indexes, execution plans and statistics
