Job description

Bid coordinators at Matcon Construction work within our headquarters located in Tampa, FL, and are an essential part of the estimating team. In this role you will work closely with an estimating manager by managing bid documents, drawings, RFIs and client correspondence. Teamwork, attention to detail, and consistency are key to operational success.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all project-related documents and bid correspondence
• Collaborate with senior team members and customers to manage bid updates and track all project progression
• Help solicit bids/ proposals
• Learn the process, pricing, and scope of contracts while always following up on delivered proposals and scope review with clients

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and fundamental skills in database management, construction blueprint plan reading/interpretation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
