Dispatcher
Davie Region
Palmdale Oil is one of the largest family-owned wholesale petroleum companies in the State of Florida, selling and distributing diesel, gasoline, oils, and lubricants. We have an opening for a Bilingual Dispatcher at our Davie location. We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a solid background in the transportation industry and a desire to work for a fast-paced, corporate organization. In addition to exceptional customer service skills, you must have a “roll-up your sleeves" attitude.
Job Description
Dispatcher position includes:
- Responsible for providing administrative support to the managerial staff and Dispatch department
- Effective communication within the company and all assigned Drivers
- Collect signed BOL and IMO’s for every order
- Provide back-up support on any needed assignment in the yard
- Complete and file required paperwork
- Responsible for dispatching and directing tank movements
Job Requirements
The required skills for Dispatcher position:
- Experience in transportation and trucking industry
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Outstanding verbal and written skills
- Stable Work history
- Available for overtime as required to meet business needs within the appropriate State/Federal regulations, plus weekends as needed
- Professional leadership skills
- A multitasker and self-starter
- Bilingual (Spanish speaking)
