WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday; 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
SUMMARY
The Billing Analyst II is responsible for ensuring complete, accurate, and timely invoicing of moderately complex billing by achieving an understanding of production activities and customer’s individual marketing program requirements. In this position, you will gather information through various software applications and internal communication. You will interact with all parts of the business to analyze information and resolve discrepancies. Application of accounting rules and judgment is required to maximize and allocate revenue. Each client invoice is unique and must be prepared timely with a high-degree of accuracy. Successful candidates will be analytical, work well under pressure, possess strong excel skills and demonstrate the ability to shift focus with a high level of efficiency. Teamwork is essential in this role. Overtime may be required to meet deadlines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform daily invoice accounting function (i.e., services, revenue allocation and postage) for assigned client accounts.
- Create and submit invoices with appropriate backup for assigned clients.
- Prepare credits with proper documentation and authorization for assigned clients.
- Research all pricing and quote discrepancies, as required.
- Prepare volume discount and client postage reports.
- Prepare and update billing accounting procedures.
- Maintain invoice tracking system with up to date information on the status of jobs/invoices.
- Investigate/resolve billing inquiries/discrepancies from internal departments and client
- Comply with Accounting department and Company rules and regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of company-sensitive data.
- Recommend methods and procedures to reduce cost and/or improve operating efficiency of the Accounting department.
- Keep manager informed of activities and situations that will impact the achievement of corporate or Accounting department goals and objectives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to achieve the goals and objectives of the Accounting department and company.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Two or Four-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office with strong excel skills, including the ability to create and maintain complex spreadsheets
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Self-motivated and attentive to detail
