JOB TITLE: Binder Utility Facilitator

STATUS: Regular, Fulltime (40 hours), hourly

HOURS: Position is 4 days a week, depending on manufacturing needs, OT as needed. 10-hour days

POSITION RESPONSIBLITIES:

The main responsibility of this position is to cover the facilitator, warehouse material handler shipping coordinator and collator operator positions. Ensuring that they are produced to the customers’ specifications while providing excellent customer service and communication throughout the process internally.

THIS POSITION WILL FLOAT BETWEEN THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS:

Facilitator

• Ensure that cartons, labels, text, and covers are pre-staged for up-coming jobs.
• Stage finished product.
• Overseeing the completion of the daily schedule

Material Handler

• Receive and store inbound materials.
  • Supply manufacturing with materials and product within the required timeline
  • Transport and store work in process.
  • Collect & recycle waste materials.
  • Conduct inventory and cycle counts as required.
  • Have previous fork-lift and clamp truck experience.
  • Review job tickets and job specifications

Shipping Coordinator

• Inputting shipment information into shipping software
• Coordinating arrival of inbound and outbound shipments
• Creating bills of lading for outbound freight
• Receiving incoming shipments of merchandise &/or other material
• Verify the accuracy of inbound freight.
• Reporting damaged goods and shortages
• Process UPS & FedEx parcel shipments
• Performing other administrative tasks for the shipping department

Collator Operator

• Assist the Binder team to operate at maximized production quality and efficiency.
• Assume and monitor excellent product quality.
• Operate equipment at the maximum potential efficiency.
• Minimize waste, spoilage, and in-efficiencies to maximize the highest profitable return.
• Communicate to employees, management, and other departments on matters with could impact quality, cost, safety, or employee morale.

IDEAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Have proven manufacturing and forklift experience.
• Computer & customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 40lbs.
• Ability to stand for entire production shift – up to 12 hours at a time plus crouch, crawl, pull, reach & endure repetitive motions.
• Be self-managed, have personal drive, requiring little or no supervision to do the daily activities of their job and disciplined in the performance of their duties, in communication and in attitude.
• Possess the ability to communicate in a positive & effective manner both verbal & written.
