Provide daily transactional support for AUSS-C clients for staff actions, such as Classification, Recruitment, Equity/Stipend and other actions associated with the position description. Work is primarily performed using PeopleAdmin, AggieService and TAM.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required
:

Experience working in a fast paced, high volume transactional environment.

Experience maintaining a high degree of discretion, integrity, and sensitivity to confidentiality and privacy.

Experience with web-based integrated systems recruitment and personnel systems, spreadsheet, word processing, email, database and presentation software applications.

Demonstrated analytical skills to understand human resources activities and a variety of policies and contracts as well as apply them appropriately to meet the needs of the department and AUSS-C.

Interpersonal skills to interact and communicate effectively and professionally with administration, staff, visitors, and volunteers, using tact, diplomacy, and good judgment during all interactions in the performance of a wide variety of programs and support functions.

Organizational skills to meet customer expectations with an emphasis on quality, quantity, and timeliness of work.

Preferred
:

Experience with general employment, classification and compensation.

Experience reviewing, understanding, and applying policies, procedures and collective bargaining contract agreements.

Knowledge of University of California staff personnel policies/procedures and union contracts.
