Job description

We are looking for a blender operative. Person will be working with Protein, vitamin, mineral and herbal powders. Responsible for operating blender, pulling, weighing and mixing raw materials into finished nutritional supplements.
Shift schedule - Monday - Friday. Day Shift

Must be able to:

• Stand and walk around production floor for long periods of time
• Reach with hands and arms overhead above shoulders
• Bend to retrieve containers and packages
• Constantly lift materials to make batches
• Climb ladders to retrieve materials
• Talk or hear
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 65 pounds
• Use pallet jacks
• Follow Standard operating procedure
• Not allergic to any material
• Be able to weigh ingredients and use bare code scanners.

Responsibilities include:

• Weighing or measuring materials, ingredients, and products to ensure conformance to requirements
• Using milling machine to mill materials, ingredients, and products to ensure conformance to requirements
• Recording weight of materials used on production records. Introducing appropriate raw materials into batch in the proper sequence.
• Observing the production and monitoring equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Adding or mixing nutrients and ingredients for processing.
• Communicate with batch makers from other shifts.
• Work with the QA department to insure quality standards are met.
• Cleaning equipment and surrounding floor area at the end of each work shift

• Previous GMP and Batch Making Experience Preferred
