The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office is currently accepting applications for the position of: Booking Specialist
Booking Specialists are in charge of the documentation of new intakes and releases from the correctional facility, checking for warrants, running criminal history checks, determining housing for those incarcerated, and managing the property of those being released or incarcerated.
The pay listed above is the starting salary.

Qualifications and Skills
Minimum qualifications required for this position are:
Must be at least 18 years of age and a citizen of the United States.
Must have a high school diploma or it’s equivalent (G.E.D.)
Must not have been convicted of, plead guilty to, or entered a plea of nolo contender to a felony charge or to any violation of any federal or state laws or municipal ordinances related to force, violence, theft, dishonesty, gambling, liquor or controlled substances.
Must have an "Honorable" or similar discharge from the military. If other than "Honorable" please attach a description of reasoning for release.
Must successfully complete and pass a drug screen.
Must successfully complete and pass a psychological assessment. Applicants must be able to work various days and shifts.'
