Role Description
Develops a robust and scalable set of data processing tools/platforms in Azure, later GCP and AWS (multicloud). Must be comfortable with SQL/NoSQL database wrangling and building/maintaining automated pipelines to discover, ingest, model, curate, secure and store a variety of data for use by data consumers. Ensure data is highly available, consistent, secure, recoverable. Hands on data engineering and application development that propels the business forward to focus on unmet needs of patients.

Exhibit a degree of creativity, proactiveness, and resourcefulness when collecting and processing data for analysis while working in an Agile team
Develop solutions for interoperability between current and emerging technologies while executing technical debt reduction initiatives
Use code/scripting languages and DataOps methodology to automate pipelines for self-service data strategies, reducing testing and deployment time, and minimizing errors encountered
Demonstrates willingness to learn, a self-starter, and dependable
Mandatory Degrees, Certs
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science or related field with at least eight years of professional experience
Azure Fundamentals Certified
Responsibilities
Collaborate with management to understand company objectives
Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies
Translate requirements specifications to build corresponding solutions
Acquire data feeds, clean and curate datasets that align with business needs
Develop algorithms to transform data into useful, actionable information
Build, test, and maintain database pipeline architectures, reports
Create new data validation methods and data analysis tools
