Job Description:

The brand ambassador's role is to drive sales in retail and marketing events through genuine, friendly engagement with current and potential consumers. Brand ambassadors will tell the Sweety story and strive to make genuine connections with every encounter. This is a role that begs for a passionate, active, and engaging individual who delights in interpersonal interactions and gets excited about flavor, quality, and brand history. This is a contact, part-time position that will focus on retail success.

Brand Ambassador Job Responsibilities:

• Embodies the brand name through friendliness, positive attitude, and team spirit when engaging with consumers and working with team members.
• Educates customers, retailers, and vendors on the Sweety's flavor variety, value propositions, and unique brand history.
• Creates positive customer experiences and drives sales.
• Exudes professionalism and is outstanding at communicating with consumers, potential consumers, and retail workers.
• Uses point-of-sale systems to complete transactions when appropriate.
• Accurately tracks and reports on sales and performance of events and demos, and submits reports within 1-2 days of the event.
• Shares customer and sales team feedback with colleagues.
• Follows all Sweety company policies.
• Arrives on time and adheres to scheduled demo and event times.
• Posts creative and engaging content on social media to build brand awareness when appropriate.

Compensation, Hours, and Perks:

• This is a part-time, contracted position.
• Schedules will vary depending on events scheduled each week, but each BA will know their schedule about a week in advance.
• $20/hour with reimbursed mileage.

Brand Ambassador Qualifications and Skills:

• Is outgoing and friendly, someone who loves meeting new people
• Knows how to use popular digital marketing and sales tools. Experience with Promomash is a plus.
• Communicates effectively and in a friendly manner.
• Provides exceptional customer service.
• Learns about new product flavors quickly.
• Is passionate about new product offerings and the CPG industry.
• Enjoys creatively promoting the brand in-person and online.
• Works well independently and with a team.
• Has regular access to a vehicle for transportation to events and demos.
• Can lift up to 25 pounds.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's or associate degree is preferred, but not necessary.
• Sales, customer service, or retail experience is strongly preferred. Previous experience samping or demoing is a huge plus!
• Experience within the CPG industry is a plus.
