Newly Constructed Luxurious Senior Living Community - Belmont Village Coral Gables

Collaborating with Live Healthy by Baptist Health, Belmont Village Coral Gables represents a revolutionary approach to senior housing. As the Building Engineer of this newly constructed 10 story community, you will manage a team of housekeepers & a Maintenance Assistant and ensure all spaces are well maintained and ready for move-ins. The ideal candidate is collaborative, tech savvy, works with a sense of urgency, has proven success managing teams and enjoys hands-on maintenance work in a fast paced high rise multi-unit senior living community.

Life Safety Code knowledge is required as well as a commitment to exceptional customer service. This is a salaried position with annual bonus opportunities. Experience in multi-family housing, hospitality or large senior living community or CCRC community maintenance is strongly preferred.

• Ensures the building maintenance program is well maintained and ensures all company housekeeping standards are met
• Ensures all life safety code requirements for assisted living and memory care communities are met and maintains documentation to support
• Manages electronic work order system & completes or delegates repairs as needed
• Coordinates with outside vendors as needed for maintenance & supplies
• Conducts apartment inspections and coordinates make-ready process
• Responds to after-hours maintenance related emergency calls
• Manages maintenance technician assistant and housekeeping department

REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years maintenance experience strongly preferred in assisted living, senior living or multi-family housing
• Proficient with MS Office products and the use of technology
• Ability to read building blueprints
• Proficient reading, comprehension, writing & mathematical ability
• Ability to work flexible shifts in a 24 hour operation including weekends to support maintenance needs
