Business Analyst, 12month FTC: this position comes with market leading remuneration and full benefits (including insurance discounts & bonus).
The position is based in Cherrywood Dublin, with a very flexible hybrid working arrangement.

We’re looking for existing Business Analysts to work across a number of exciting BAU and one-off larger multi-year projects in the business.

If you don’t have Business Analysis experience, we’ll consider you if you’re coming from an IT test or SME Project/program background in a regulated industry. So that would be insurance, Financial Services, or Telecomms.
You’ll need to have great English language communication skills because you’ll be translating requirements between IT and business teams to get sign off, helping take projects from inception to fruition.
About the job:
You’ll be performing a Business Analyst role in a project team or within the change area. You can expect to work on different types of projects and with various teams and business areas within General insurance.

You will be making sure business outcomes are understood and delivered in line with plans.
Working with colleagues in both the business and in more technical teams to define and articulate the requirements for change, you should be comfortable driving your own work, planning, and working with others to achieve a successful outcome.
Skills & Experience:
  • Experienced Business Analyst with a focus on gathering business requirements from Product owners and stakeholders.
  • Previous experience of working within General Insurance industry ideal, or finance or telecoms.
  • Fantastic communication skills - engage with a variety of people in business and technical teams, adjusting your content and style to the message and the needs of the audience
  • Great Team Player - able to work effectively with colleagues from all over Aviva to collaborate and achieve team goals. An open mind to view changes from different perspectives and provide constructive challenge.
  • Self-Organiser - able to plan and organise own work delivering to realistic timelines and fitting in with the wider project
  • Critical Thinker A great problem solver - using Business Analysis tools and techniques to solve business problems and explore and define implementable change.
  • Responsible: Take ownership of your work and be accountable for its delivery and to ensure all governance processes are in place.
