Business Analyst, Location: Dublin – Ireland
The mission for the Data & Analytics team is to enable and empower our partners across the business to use high impact data & analytics tools, technologies, and methodologies to drive business insights & improve business outcomes.
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing business requirements and processes, understanding technical architecture and data flows, and translating these into Data & Analytics requirements and solution options. This will require close collaboration with D&A business partners, spokes and business teams depending on the scope of requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct analysis of business requirements and processes, including analysis of Primark systems impacted by business requirements and potential changes to business processes
- Translating business requirements into Data & Analytics requirements, and developing solution options and recommendations
- Conducting impact analysis for potential changes to D&A platform, processes, and products (considering the impact on roles, conceptual solution architecture, cost, and business outcomes)
- Collaborating with D&A business partners, spokes, and business teams to ensure business requirements and processes are fully understood and well-defined
Essential knowledge, skills, and experience:
- A Bachelor or master’s degree in a quantitative field (Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Math, Economics, Statistics, Analytics, Management/Business Information Systems (or related degree))
- 5+ years of demonstrable experience in a Business Analysis role
- Experience of delivering business analysis on Data & Analytics projects
- Experience of interpreting customer needs and translating those into application and operational requirements.
- Experience testing solutions across multiple systems
- Documentation skills including but not limited to requirements documentation, technical specifications, test plans, etc.
- Ability to present complex information in an understandable manner to all areas of the business.
- Strong communication, listening and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of Data & Analytics platforms (e.g. Teradata, Tableau, Alteryx, or similar platforms) is desirable
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate, influence and coach others
- Ability to question and challenge ensuring we are continuously improving our processes and measuring the right data
- Operates with a high level of integrity, diplomacy, tact, and professionalism
