POSITION: PRICING ANALYST INTERN

We are looking for a Business Analyst with a pricing focus to join our pricing team.

This business analyst will be part of the business partner team supporting the delivery of a new enterprise price management and optimisation platform.

OVERVIEW:

The primary areas of involvement:

• Translate business requirements into use cases to support delivery of this new enterprise solution
• Help to connect business objectives to pricing requirements
• Work with the Pricing Product Owner to define deployment strategies
• Continuous engagement with project team members and related stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and executed aligned to expectations throughout a project
• Support validation of the solution at User Acceptance Testing through defining test criteria
• Participate in and help lead testing activities
• Actively participates in assigned pricing projects, and in initiatives to improve the delivery of IT services.

PREFERRED DEGREE BACKGROUND:

• Business Information Systems
• Computer Science
• Commerce
• IT related degrees

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to execute in a team environment and on own initiative
• Technical acumen and an eagerness to learn
• Experience of using analytics tools to support prototyping is a plus
• Understanding of Business Intelligence/Analytics solutions, preferably within a Big Data space
