The Communications Business Partner will be responsible for creating and executing digital communications that support business goals and enhance the company's reputation. The person in this role will work closely with other departments and ensure cohesive messaging across all channels. This role will also manage community relations activity and build strong relationships with strategic community partners. This full-time position will report to the Director of Communications and Community Relations at our Liberty Diversified International headquarters – located in New Hope, MN.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and execute communications that align with company goals and enhance brand reputation.
• Create and manage content for company communications mediums including digital monitors, social media, website, and other platforms.
• Manage an editorial calendar
• Develop messaging that accurately represents our brands and ensure consistency across all channels.
• Manage relationships with community partners and organizations, both locally and nationally.
• Organize and execute community events and initiatives and coach internal partners on community relations strategy and deployment.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with selected nonprofit organizations to develop the company’s strategic goals.
• Provide regular reports on digital communications and community relations activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or related field
• 4-7 years of experience in communications
• Ability to multitask while ensuring accuracy
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful digital communications campaigns
• Experience in social media management and analytics tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong project management skills
• Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to produce expert written copy and visually interesting, branded communications materials
• Experience in event development and execution

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:

• Experience in managing community relations and partnerships
• Experience in developing and executing corporate social responsibility programs
• Knowledge of graphic design, video production, and other multimedia production tools
• Experience working with media outlets
• Understanding of SEO principles
