YOUR ROLE
- The Business Development Manager e-Mobility is responsible for developing new business opportunities by expanding the technology portfolio, application range, customer base, and market share.
- Your task will also be to identify potential new applications and new technologies for batteries & Power conversion components in Electric Vehicles.
- You will be part of the e-Mobility team at Henkel responsible for a fast growing and exciting business with solutions for electric vehicles based on Henkel’s excellent capabilities in thermal materials, adhesives, sealants and functional coatings.
- You have the lead for growing the project and innovation pipeline with our existing and new customers and for successfully launching new technologies on battery components.
- Visit existing and potential customers on a regular basis to learn and understand key technical customer requirements and specifications to translate these into new innovation programs.
- Close collaboration with Henkel sales engineers and OEM key account managers to define and execute customer roadmaps.
- Support pricing, quotations and marketing activities aligned with the e-Mobility strategy.
- Consolidate and share customer intelligence with stakeholders Project Management to drive key projects from first design discussion to prototyping to approval to production scale-up phase and first sales.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders at Henkel, e.g., product development team, application engineering team, supply chain, etc. to achieve new customer approvals, nominations and successful launches.
- Build and leverage your battery expertise across the European Henkel e-Mobility Team and across regions.
YOUR SKILLS
- Business strategy project planning international sales lead generation new business development revenue growth sales and marketing sales management solution selling strategic partnerships strategy strategic planning
- Preferably master’s degree in industrial engineering and management, engineering, natural science, or chemical engineering
- Automotive background with at least 5 years of relevant job experience in B2B
- Passion for e-Mobility and ideally relevant market knowledge in the field of e-Mobility and batteries
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, with desire to build strong networks across different functions and cultures Motivated to collaborate closely with sales teams and customers to transfer their needs and requirements into sales projects.
- Proven track record in execution of projects, effectively managing simultaneous workstreams and a variety of stakeholders with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Strong sense of ownership, entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on mentality
- Fluent English language skills are beneficial.
The salary for this role is $115,000.00 - $140,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
