Position Overview:

Rectangle Health is looking for a Business Development Manager for Practice Management Bridge, one of the leading patient payments systems in healthcare. The Business Development Manager’s efforts support the creation of new features and user stories and ensures committed in progress work meets the needs of the customer and internal stakeholders. The Business Development Manager works alongside the UX Designer, Product Managers, Development and QA teams to define and document requirements, write acceptance criteria, and facilitate related internal communications. Primary job duties:

• Maintain thorough user-level knowledge of the product, supported by broad technical understanding.
• Research complex issues and collaborate with Product Managers and Development team to determine effective solutions.
• Drive requirements gathering discussions, understand technical and functional dependencies, and communicate requirements to engineering.
• Create appropriate diagrams/drawings of process flows, both existing and proposed, using LucidChart or Visio.
• Define and document business requirements within JIRA.
• Actively participate in business requirement walk through and Sprint planning meetings.
• Assist in building, managing, and prioritizing the product backlog.
• Assist in outlining test cases for QA as needed.
• Troubleshoot implementation and technical support issues; assess, evaluate, and make recommendations for potential product enhancements or fixes.

Minimum qualifications:

• A BS/BA Degree or equivalent work experience
• 3-5 years of Business Analyst experience with software integration, APIs and/or implementation
• Understanding of the software development life cycle and agile/scrum methodology
• Experience using Atlassian/JIRA, Rally, or other Agile product tracking tool.
• Customer management skills for administration, resolving issues and building customer relationships.
• Written, verbal communication, listening, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Responds strongly and positively to challenging work and deadlines.
• Works as in integral part of a talent team in a fast-paced, proactive environment.
• Healthcare and/or Revenue Cycle Management experience a plus
