As an Industrial Sales Specialist at Western Integrated Technologies you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent
  • 5 + years of Fluid Power (hydraulic and pneumatic) application experience, desired
  • Industrial sales experience
  • A documented personal sales process
  • Experience writing and deploying proposals and client presentations
  • Mechanical, electrical, and programmable controllers experience a plus
  • Proficient with MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Consultative Sales Skills Training
  • A Positive “Can-Do” Attitude
  • A desire to help Teammates succeed, always helping where needed


Responsibilities of an Industrial Sales Specialist:
  • Build and maintain meaningful business relationships with decision-makers and necessary influencers
  • Enthusiastically grow sales while simultaneously enhancing margins
  • Interact daily with customer prospects via email, phone, and in-person
  • Leverage new and existing relationships to win new customers for WIT
  • Work with Purchasing, Sales, Shop, C-Suite, and Engineering contacts to identify and close new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal resources to identify new opportunities
  • Utilize our CRM by updating your new and ongoing sales opportunities daily
  • Develop proposals and present to customers and prospective clients
  • Submit an approved business plan to review monthly with the manager
  • Must call on new accounts weekly


Compensation:

First-year base salary and commission can range anywhere from $70k - 85k with no upper limit on potential commission earnings.
