We are adding a Business Intelligence Developer to our IT Development team. In this position, you will have a direct impact on the business; you will design and build the next generation of business intelligence tools under the Qlik Sense platform. We are seeking a motivated professional to train alongside a group of experienced developers. You will find yourself challenged by the variety of programs and departments we work with daily - it's not just insurance. You must be forward-thinking in designing, creating, and implementing data solutions that help our business units make efficient and effective decisions for the company.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Participate in collaborative design sessions with organizational stakeholders and business owners to design, build, and deliver reports, dashboards, and applications to meet business goals.
• Contribute to the Agile and Project Management methodologies from planning to execution (i.e. requirements gathering, decomposition, development, etc.) in support of department or organizational projects.
• Manage multiple projects, shifting priorities as needed to produce accurate work product, all while meeting established deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Formal education in MIS, CIS, Math, Computer Science, Data and Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Experience with Qlik Sense, Tableau, and Power BI preferred.
• Experience with or understanding of financial statements; knowledge of basic Accounting Principles a plus.
• Proven ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
• Self-motivated, attention to detail, passion for solving problems, and eager to learn about emerging technologies.
• Must be willing to participate in an on call rotation schedule.
