Summary/Objective:
The Business Segment Manager - Fabric & Industrial (BSM) is responsible for developing and maintaining long-term relationships with the high-value segment customers. The BSM will play a critical role in building and nurturing relationships with segment customers. Our BSM will ensure customer satisfaction and be able to identify new opportunities and offer new strategies to increase sales within the Fabric and Industrial Segments. Ultimately a BSM will increase penetration into segment accounts, shorten sales cycle times and increase sales in both number of orders and achieved margin.
What you would do:
- Work with Sales Director to define and segment current accounts for strategic impact.
- Manage sales process deemed strategic to Zund. (Account plans, ROI, cost savings, TCO)
- Managing and supporting all Regional Sales Managers in the Fabric & Industrial Segments,
- Providing solutions and innovative strategies to meet the key/strategic client needs and maximize the business from strategic clients.
- Assist in training and knowledge share with the sales team and applications team as needed.
- Communicate with major clients regularly, nurture relationships and respond to specific queries.
- Handle any internal or external opportunities or issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Attend market segment appropriate trade shows and product demonstrations.
- Monitor segment performance metrics, prepare monthly, quarterly/annual reports and forecasts.
- Present segment review to management as required either annually or semi-annually.
What we require from you:
- BS/BA in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
- Curiosity, Competitive, Collaborative, Coachable
- Proven track record of increasing awareness, sales, and revenue; field sales experience
- Proficiency in MS Office, Salesforce. Familiarity with Concur, ADP, Sharepoint, Teams a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills and team leadership abilities
- Problem-solving aptitude and ability to think on your feet a must
- Knowledge of factory production & automated workflows a plus in furniture, automotive, aerospace
