Role Summary:

Hello Bello is looking for a highly skilled Buyer who will coordinate activities involved with procuring goods and services, such as raw materials, equipment, tools, parts and supplies. You will provide hands-on support to our procurement team by sourcing and onboarding new partners, as well as strengthening our partner network by tracking and improving key partner metrics including speed, quality, and pricing. Strong communication, negotiation, planning and problem-solving skills are essential to the success in this role.

Responsibility:

• Translates ERP system generated requirements and places timely purchase orders to suppliers to meet production demand
• Manage the acquisition of raw materials, ensure efficient inventory and optimum stock levels for operations
• Track and analyze buying activities and data. Prepare reports as needed and apply the results to purchasing decisions
• Analyze inventory levels of components for co-pack needs in order to avoid unnecessary labor and material costs
• Leverage MRP functionality to drive materials planning and procurement execution. Ensure supporting Master Data (BOM, item attributes, safety stock, lead-time, etc.) is managed to support systemic supply management
• Identify and resolve supply exceptions by expediting purchase orders and re-allocating existing inventory
• Build strong and ongoing relationships with multiple suppliers and ensure they consistently meet our quality standards
• Monitor the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identify and qualify new suppliers

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, materials planning and/or supply chain in a fast-paced consumer goods and/or manufacturing environment
• Hands on experience in MRP, ERP and/or systems specifically related to inventory control, materials requirements planning, item master, demand planning, and production planning
• Expertise in Excel and experience with Google Workspace preferred
• Ability to build strong relationships with external suppliers and vendors with an emphasis on trust and communication
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and multitask
• Effective verbal and written communication with stakeholders in all levels of the organization
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Purchasing or other related field or appropriate combination of education and relevant practical experience
