Responsibilities:

• Monitors the subcontractors and maintenance technician’s workflow (for i.e.: machine downtime, tools needed to repair machines, materials/supplies for subcontractors) to determine processing requirements based on needs. Ensures the timely flow of materials and tools needed
• Place purchase orders based on review and acceptance of purchase requisitions
• Obtain appropriate approval
• Process and order requested supplies
• Provide regular updates on purchase order status
• Ensures prompt delivery of materials/tools as needed while maintaining proper inventory levels
• Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production, and distribution capabilities to determine if they are compatible with the company objectives
• Continually evaluate and monitor quotes for the most current pricing and lead times
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing with peers, management, suppliers, and customers.
• Continually works to improve vendor/supplier quality and delivery performance using KPIs
• Participates in efforts to continuously improve company performance related to cost and delivery requirements
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports using Microsoft Office Suite software and a Maintenance Connection operating system, Epicor is preferred
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested

Minimum Requirements:

• Knowledge and understanding of supply chain management
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload and work in a team environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively across all departments and personnel
• Detail Oriented
• Communicate Effectively (verbal and written)
• Research information
• Related certifications, such as: APICS, CPIM, CSCP, ISM, CPM, ISO, CPSM, PMP, NAPM, GMO
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Education, Management, Business/Administration, Finance, Business/Management, MBA, Economics or related field is preferred, but open to someone with equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years of experience (multi-site operation preferred)
