Description:

Supply specialist is responsible for managing the procurement and supply of materials and parts required for the production. This role works closely with suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality materials, while also managing inventory levels and identifying opportunities for cost savings.

Tasks:

Manage supplier relationships and performance to ensure on-time delivery and quality standards are met

Monitor inventory levels and adjust purchasing plans as needed to maintain appropriate stock levels

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure materials are available when needed for production

Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to reduce expenses while maintaining quality standards

Resolve issues related to supply chain disruptions, quality issues, and shipping delays

Analyze data and generate reports to track supplier metrics and identify areas for improvement.
