Position Summary: Cashroom Associate

General Cashiering tasks in a very time sensitive environment. These tasks require moving around for most of the day. Verify prior day’s sales receipts for accuracy and completeness utilizing a Glory Cash Processing System. It combines Glory Global Solution System Software and Hardware, an integrated system of cash management and processing System.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Cash Room
Register Balancing & Cash Bag Processing utilizing Glory CPS to produce Register Summary Listing, Store Activity, Workstation Media Summary & Bank Deposit Report for all Parks, including: Bronx Zoo, NY Aquarium, Central Park Zoo, Prospect Park Zoo & Queens Zoo
Daily Bank Deposits from Glory CPS
Starting Banks preparation for next Business day
Counting and wrapping of coins utilizing GLORY an integrated Software and hardware.
Balance Cash Room Fund Daily
Vortex Processing
Change Order requests
Release Starting Funds to authorized Managers
Able to move 5 pound cash bag every 15 minutes throughout workdays
Able to move 25-30 pounds of coins every two Hours throughout work days
Candidates should be available to work including Weekends and holidays

Administration
Data entry function in SAP
Provide feedback for process improvement
Assist with annual KPMG annual Audit
Bank of America Cash pro Online daily.
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualification Requirements

Qualifications:
Associate degree in Business required
3 - 5 years of checkable Cash Handling experience in retailing environment
Strong written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated ability to balance numerous and varied tasks simultaneously
Ability to work independently; without close supervision
PC literate and Proficient in Word and Excel

Salary Range

$15.50/hour
