C-IED/C-sUAS Training & Development Analyst to support the Counter-Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED)/Counter small Unmanned Aircraft System (C-sUAS) training program atUS Air Force HQ Air Education & Training Command (AETC), Special Missions and Expeditionary Training Division (A3Q), Randolph AFB TX. Must have ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE.

Candidate shall have at least fifteen years experience as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician (a Master's Degree or equivalent in combination with lesser EOD experience may suffice) and possess relevant operational IED experience in Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) or Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) environments. Must possess knowledge of military technical training and resource management. Must have knowledge of the Air Force training processes, programs and requirements.

This individual MUST be a graduate of the Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal (NAVSCOLEOD) course held at either Indian Head Maryland or Eglin AFB, FL.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as subject matter expert on C-IED/C-sUAS training, to include training requirements and syllabus development.
  • Serve as the point of contact for organizing and tracking C-IED/C-sUAS training program management to include programming and execution for all AF MAJCOMS. Serve as the focal point for managing resources to include programming training and operations and funding, instructor manpower, associated training contracts, and programmed student loading for both programming and execution planning. Develop C-IED/C-sUAS Training Programming Plans and milestones, in written format, to provide accurate and timely C-IED/ analyses and program planning to ensure C-IED/C-sUAS programming actions comply with appropriate directives and meet milestone requirements.
  • Develop, update C-IED/C-sUAS training curriculum and training syllabi in accordance with standard AETC training syllabi format (to be provided by the government). Ensure training curriculum and training syllabi are standardized AF-wide incorporating lessons learned from the Joint-IED Defeat Office (JIEDDO) through the incorporation of emerging technologies and joint service “best practices.”
  • Work with functional communities including the US Air Forces Central (AFCENT), other Air Component Commands, other MAJCOMs, and JIEDDO to ensure AF training includes current training capabilities and requirements

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
