Job Title: Cable Technician(s)

Location: Greensboro, NC

Duration: Short-Term to Long-Term Projects

Pay Rate: W2 – Pending Qualifications & Experience

Start Date: ASAP

RESPONSIBILITIES

•Follow safety procedures and practice job etiquette

•Take instructions from lead technician

•Pull, terminate, test and label Cat5e and Cat6 data cabling

•Terminate data jacks and patch panels

•Experience with Fiber highly preferred

•Install ladder racks, networking equipment and telephone equipment

•Perform testing and troubleshooting of equipment and cabling

•Build out telecommunications and equipment rooms

•Work on ladders/lifts as needed

•Ensure job site is clean at the end of shift

•Work in a quick and efficient manner

•Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

•Prior experience terminating Cat 5/6 cable

•Previous experience working in commercial construction environments on ladders or lifts

•Telecom hand tools and personal protective equipment required
