Job Description:
Position Summary:
Understanding and ability to install Network Infrastructure Cabling to current standards. Proficient in types of terminating, installing, and testing both inside and outside Network Cabling to include Category 6, Coax, SM/MM Fiber Optics. Responsible for the installation, termination, splicing, testing, certification, and documentation of Network Cabling video/data cabling as well as related Network Cabling video/data maintenance activities. Ability to read and understand complex prints- Network video/data designs and Network equipment installations. Have a desire and ability to support customer needs with strong attention to detail. Perform all duties according to prescribed safety procedures and use appropriate safety equipment. Responsible to respond to incoming requests for service via phone, email, instant message, or voice mail. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting and actively resolving end user requests and escalating incidents where appropriate to maintain Service Level Agreement (SLA) expectations. Log all incidents in the incident management solution and track through to resolution. Required to work some off hours. Some travel required.

Install, terminate and test cat5, cat6, fiber optic cable, coax, 25 pair, RJ45 mod plugs
Install, Terminate and test data jacks, face plates, RJ45 mod plugs etc, fiber optic connectors
Terminate 66 block, 110 block
Read and comprehend blue prints/floor plans
Data closet build out. Data racks, ladder rack, back boards

Qualifications and desired traits:
Comfortable speaking with customers in a construction environment as well as a professional setting
Must be able to climb ladders, comfortable working in heights and tight spaces, stand for long periods of time, lift an excess of 50lbs,
Quick thinker and problem solver
Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
Strong work ethic
Honesty and integrity

Here's what you will need:
High School Diploma
Minimum 3 years relevant experience
Good driving record
Full proficiency in a range of technical processes or procedures
Telecom certifications are a plus
