Job description
Currently seeking a CAD Drafter for a Recycled Metal Products company located in Cloverdale CA.
Ideal candidate will have a strong background in SolidWorks.
Pay rate between $25-$35/hr DOE
As a CAD Drafter you will:
- Create and modify SolidWorks CAD models for fabricated mechanical designs and create 2D working drawings to support the manufacturing of parts
- Provide key mechanical design and drafting services to the equipment-built operation
You will need the following to succeed:
- Exposure and familiarity with 3D solid modeling mechanical CAD design applications
- Exposure and familiarity with 2D drawing and annotation design applications.
- Ability to work independently and take direction from internal customers (R&D Engineers) to create, update, and document mechanical designs with little to no direct supervision.
- 1-year hands on work experience with SolidWorks 3D mechanical CAD design applications
- 1-year hands on work experience developing 2D Fabrication drawings for fabricated metal parts
