Cenikor is a non-profit organization and one of the largest substance abuse treatment centers in the nation. We are currently seeking a Full Time Call Center Training Specialist for our Corporate office in Houston, TX.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Call Center Training Specialist will be responsible for the facilitation and delivery of training, as well as the coordination and tracking of training events. This role is responsible for the integrity of all access center facing training documents and materials. As a key member of the access center department, the training specialist will be an integral part of the success of training development.

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 8a - 5p

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Act as the primary facilitator for training of Access Center systems, applications and tools (Welligent, CMBHS, PureCloud, TMHP, Sex Offender Registry, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint etc.) to ensure all staff who interact with clients are compliant with Cenikor and State policies, rules, and guidelines.
  • Develop, update and maintain process maps and standard operation policies (SOPs) for the team.
  • Develops training curricula and/or utilizes vendor programs that meet instructional goals and objectives.
  • Selects or develops training aids, including training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials and reference works.
  • Manage training checklist and agenda to support a structured and timely training experience.
  • Manage refresher trainings through in-person, virtual or coursework to required staff and maintain completion log upon completion.
  • Evaluates effectiveness of training and development programs utilizes relevant evaluation data to revise or recommend changes in instructional objectives or methods.
  • Manage global training tracking tool and provide weekly training updates to the leadership team.
  • Respond timely to questions coming into the Training inbox and provide appropriate direction.
  • Design, develop, and deploy “Training Tip Tuesday”.
  • Post training material to shared drive and SharePoint upon request.
  • Responsible for the ongoing archiving of dated material and precise document tracking.
  • Support with coordination of special projects.
  • Communicate and report all training findings and activities to leadership as requested.
  • Participate in meetings through contributing recommendations, suggestions, etc.
  • Respond to requests presented by leadership promptly.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION:

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and facilitation.
  • Teaching and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of team members in a diverse community.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organization skills required.
  • Possess good time management skills needed to meet aggressive deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office, with above average skills in MS PowerPoint and Outlook Calendar.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience:

  • One-year experience in training coordination, adult learning, or other similar experience required.
  • Prior experience with substance use treatment, prevention and/or aftercare preferred.
  • Prior experience with Microsoft Office applications and Zoom.
