Who We Need:
As a Servicing Analyst II, your primary purpose will be to support the mortgage servicing department by analyzing and interpreting complex data related to mortgage loans. You will be responsible for identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies in the data to inform decision-making, improve processes, and drive operational efficiencies. Your work will require a solid understanding of mortgage servicing processes, data analytics, and a range of technical tools and platforms. Ultimately, your role will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of the mortgage servicing data and driving the organization towards achieving its business objectives.
What You Will Do:
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of Servicing data, including gathering, summarizing, and analyzing data necessary to gain business insights and establish best practices
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-visibility dashboards used by management and other collaborators
- Conducts deep dive analysis into past performance results in order to map out trends and identify key response variables; leveraging these findings to optimize borrower retention, loss mitigation outcomes, and other business initiatives
- Develop, monitor, and present reports on portfolio performance and identify trends that may require escalation
- Proactively work to organize, enhance, and drive consistency in our metrics and data assets, serving as a force multiplier to make the organization more effective.
- Identify and implement process improvements to find efficiencies, streamline the reporting process, and lead data automation efforts
- Utilize data warehouses to support partner teams with the preparation and delivery of servicing datasets and/or metrics
- Confidently, efficiently, and properly document builds/reports, and articulate to the business what's been built and the "why" behind it
- Resolve various Servicing issues by researching reports and data warehouses via SQL
- Build and/or alter data objects to integrate data points required for emerging reporting requirements
What You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Math, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or another quantitative subject area
- 3 - 5 years experience in Servicing or Mortgage Data Management
- Experience with DML and DQL for MySQL and SQL Server environments
- Experience creating and troubleshooting scripts in Python with a heavy emphasis on Pandas library
- Fundamental understanding of the mortgage and servicing industry
- Ability to extract and analyze large data sets
- Ability to prioritize and manage a large volume of tasks
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, Google Workplace (G-Suite), and Google Cloud Platform (Data Studio/Big Query/API)
- Black Knight MSP and QRM-ERM experience is a plus
- VBA experience is a plus
