Position on the Marietta Air Mobility and Maritime Missions Business Development team based in Marietta Georgia. Selected candidate will build or support the building and executing of campaign strategy plans for mobility customers that include international governments and non-government commercial customers. Works with United States embassies, Lockheed Martin Global Pursuits, Lockheed Martin International and Lockheed Martin Government Affairs to identify markets and determines the feasibility of the sale of air mobility and maritime aircraft and products. The selected candidate will work with potential customers to determine their needs and develop solutions to their current mobility and/or maritime requirements. Develops and disseminates information on a continuous basis to all pertinent parties concerning the fulfillment of project goals and objectives. Works with Advanced Development Programs to identify gaps in customer requirements and recommend technical solutions. The employee must have the ability to be viewed as an expert in mobility operations. This position is responsible for developing solutions to problems of unusual complexity which require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity and innovation. Challenges are frequently unique and solutions may serve as precedent for future decisions. Works under consultative direction toward long range goals and objectives. Will have regular interface with key foreign and/or commercial customers, will present product briefings and author white papers that facilitate market acceptance of LM Aero products and services.

This position does require international travel.

This position requires U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain Secret Clearance after hire.
Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or above with experience working in air mobility/air transport related activities (requirements, acquisition/mission execution / sustainment, commercial aviation).
• Strong communication/presentation skills (speaking, writing, and listening) are essential.
• Experience working with customers from junior to senior executives, that may include foreign governments and members of Congress and their staffs.
• Knowledge of military organization construct.

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or above with 10 or more years’ experience working in air mobility/air transport related activities (requirements, acquisition/mission
• Strong communication/presentation skills (speaking, writing, and listening) are essential.
• Working with foreign military governments a plus.
• An understanding of the Foreign Military Sales procurement

process a plus.

• Experience as a pilot/navigator a plus.
• C-130H or C-130J experience a plus.
• Pentagon experience a plus.
• Commercial aircraft sales experience a plus.
• Foreign language skills a plus.
• Presentation development mastery using such tools as PowerPoint or Prezi highly desired.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
