Title: Cardiovascular Scheduling Specialist Lead - NHMP Danbury Cardiology - Danbury, CT. Full Time, 40 hours per week, 8 hour shifts.Summary:
Provides advance level scheduling coordination of patient care activities in HVI. Specializes in developing new and standard methods of scheduling multiple points of contact across HVI. Trains staff in patient scheduling functions.
Responsibilities:
1. Coordinates the scheduling of complex cardiovascular interventional and Electrophysiology procedures across a number of entities within HVI. Coordinating the patient, patient families, provider staff, ancillary staff, room and equipment.
2. Schedules CHF patients visits for NVHP providers as well as coordinating visiting physicians schedules and patient interactions.
3. Act as a point person in the procurement of device and industry representatives time to coordinate procedures and office visits requiring specialized devices and application specialists.
4. Develops standard methods for scheduling and coordinating complex HVI activities and resources to ensure efficiency, patient focus and no added cost or loss of revenue.
5. Acts as a super user for telephone and or scheduling systems.
6. Completes audits and assists with tracking of information as needed to maintain a minimal amount of reminders and follow ups in all of the departments pools, including clerical and scheduling pools.
7. Cross covers check-in and check out functions at sites along with all of the scheduling functions.
8. Presents a professional appearance and image to all of the patients and their families.
9. Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
10. Maintain and Model Nuvance Health Foundational Values (Personal, Imaginative, Agile, Connected).
11. Performs other duties as required.

Required:
High School Diploma/ GED
Prior electrophysiology experience preferred.
Grade: S4
Salary Range:
$16.3200 - $31.0500 Hourly
