Bluebird Care are looking for caring, compassionate individuals to join our team of Healthcare Assistants to support older people and people living with disabilities in the comfort of their home environment. Bluebird Care is Ireland’s leading health and social care provider.
We are a provider of homecare and specialised support services to help people live independently at home and in their own communities in Claregalway/Oranmore area. We believe in caring for our Healthcare Assistant colleagues as much as we do caring for our customers.
If you have experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Carer, HCA, Health Care Assistant or in the HSE we would love to hear from you.
However, if you do not have experience, we provide full training and encourage candidates from all sectors to apply, for example: retail sales assistant, customer service, hairdressers/beauticians, receptionist, administrator, cleaners, warehouse workers and delivery drivers.

The Ideal Candidate
- Full clean driving licence essential.
- Completed QQI Level 5 Care Skills & Care of the Older Person or have at least one year’s paid experience working in a Caring environment and be willing to undertake QQI Level 5 major award (supported by the company) within 11 months of starting work.
- Available evenings and weekend - flexible schedule.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- Confidential, calm, polite and professional individual who is well presented and has a kind and caring nature.
