Along with the ability to carry out all duties detailed in the job description, applicants must have:

• Minimum of Fully Completed FETAC/QQI level 5 qualification

• Full clean Driving License

Applicants should have;

• FETAC Level 5/QQ I or relevant equivalent and HSE Children’s First training

• Previous experience of working in residential services and of HIQA regulations

• Previous experience working within the Intellectual Disability area and of working with people who have a diagnosis of Autism and Behaviours of Concern

• Be person centred in their approach, empowering service users to maximise their independence and develop meaningful social roles

• The ability to effectively manage their time; work on their own initiative and as part of a team.

• Commitment to promoting the active engagement and participation of Service Users in their

• local communities

• Full, clean driving licence essential.
