Contract: Part Time Weekend Work

We are looking for energetic & passionate individuals who are interested in flexible part time work. The role involves supporting service users during our day services outreach hours daytime hours over the weekend. This does not involve night work.

We are seeking applications from enthusiastic care workers with a passion for supporting clients with disability in our Active Inclusion – Day Service in Sligo. These positions are ideal for those who enjoy working in a team and want to make a difference in the lives of children and young people with disability. You will be provided with extensive training in our model of care to assist you in your role.

Skills Requirement

· Qualification in relevant discipline (e.g.: health, community care sector) FETAC level 5 minimum.

· Have a full driving license and be willing to drive company vehicles

· Have a genuine passion for working with children and young people with disability.

· Working off the New Directions model, successful applicants should have the ability to develop and maintain support /care plans and provide required support and care to clients on an individual person-centred basis.

· Candidates should have an understanding, knowledge, and experience of working with clients who have physical and sensory disabilities.

  • Hold a full, clean driving license.
  • Working Saturday or Sunday day hours.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: Up to €26,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
