Come join our amazing Hospice team at Home Health and Hospice, an affiliate of The University of Vermont Health Network! This role is an excellent client support position for those looking to make a positive impact in the lives of clients and their families during a time of need. We support the ongoing learning and professional development of our staff. After 3mos of successful employment this position is eligible to go through our LNA certification program at no cost to the employee and all training time compensated.
The Personal Care Attendant (PCA) provides care through assisting clients and their families in their home with non-medical directed home management tasks which include support of the client with light housekeeping, laundry, meal planning and preparation.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required plus the University of Vermont Health Network Home Health & Hospice PCA Training program (either 1 day for experienced recruits or full PCA training for recruits with no previous experience)
- Personal Care Attendants must successfully complete PCA coursework and pass the required exam. We will support and guide the candidate through this process.
- Hold a valid driver’s license and have a reliable, registered vehicle with insurance as required by the organization, and appropriate to position
