Kirkwood is a continuing care retirement community located in the Birmingham/Irondale area. We are looking for several Personal Care Companions (PCC) Caregivers to work as Companions and/or Floaters for our residents.

The PCC's interact directly with residents by providing comfort, companionship, daily activity support and any other assistance with daily living needs.

We are searching for dedicated and compassionate individuals who have a passion for serving in an elderly community.

Flexible shifts available for days, evenings and overnights.

Now offering enhanced shift differential pay for all evening and overnight and weekend shifts.

Employees start part time and can become "full time" once they build a schedule where they are working a minimum of 30 hours a week.

As a "full time" employee you are eligible for health benefits, (PTO) paid time off, company paid short term disability insurance and $25,000 in life insurance.

Successful Candidates will:

• Be at least 18 years old;
• Speak, read and understand English;
• Be able to perform the essential functions outlined in the job description;
• Have a positive attitude with the residents and other employees.
• Have experience working as a care giver for elderly residents.
