Augustana Apartments of Minneapolis, an independent and assisted living campus in Minneapolis, is hiring Caregivers (Home Health Aides (HHAs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) or Personal Care Assistants (PCAs)) to join our team! In this role, you will become an important part of our residents' lives.

We are conveniently located on the bus line and accessible by the light rail! Staff enjoy the convenience of being located near restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, pharmacies, and health care providers. We even have a convenience store onsite! There are Full-Time and Part-Time, benefit eligible positions available working varied schedules including every other weekend.

Full-Time Shift: Day (6:30 am to 2:30 pm) and Night (10:30 pm to 6:30 am)

Part-Time Shifts: Day (6:30 am to 2:30 pm) and Evening (2:30 pm to 10:30 pm)

There are On-Call shifts as well working a varied schedule.

Full-Time positions are eligible for a $3,000 Bonus and Part-Time is eligible for a $1,500 Bonus.

What does a Caregiver do?

• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
• Wash resident clothing, make beds, and clean the general environment.
• Assist with laundry and bed making.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Perform delegated nursing or therapy procedures.
• Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition to the supervisor.
• Assist with body positioning, transfers, therapeutic exercises, active or passive range of motion.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

What does a Caregiver require?

• Current MN Nursing Assistant certification preferred.
• Compassionate attitude and passion to work with elderly adults.
• Must be 18 years or older.
